On Sunday 14th December, 15 innocent lives were stolen at Bondi Beach, and many more were changed forever. Holocaust survivors, young families, ten-year-old Matilda, locals who ran towards danger, and ordinary Australians caught up in the fray.
This attack on Jewish Australians is an attack on all of us. It calls for compassion, solidarity, and meaningful action. In the weeks and months ahead, as those affected begin to heal, let them see Australians responding with open hearts and open hands.
